Local Information

 There are four towns nearby. Each with their unique shops and restaurants. Carrabelle is to the west and is the closest. Past Carrabelle to the west are Eastpoint, St. George Island and Apalachicola.

In Carrabelle be sure to visit the Smallest Police Station in the country. While there, treat yourself to lunch at The Junction, a coffee house, ice cream parlor, sandwich shop all in one that exudes the small town’s charm.

From Eastpoint take the 4 mile bridge to St. George Island, or the John Gorrie Bridge to Apalachicola. St. George Island is a small resort town. Apalachicola is the largest town in the area. The nearest town with your typical chain stores is Crawfordville, 45 minutes to the North East.
