Sandy Beach Properties has a 30 day cancellation policy. If you do not cancel prior to 30 days of your check-in date, you will be charged for the full amount due.

Check-In Instructions:
Check-In is at 4pm and Check-out is at 10am, unless prior arrangements have been made. When you arrive at the home, there will be a lockbox on the door. Open the shutter door to reveal the dials and the release button and rotate the dials to the number given with your reservation. Press down on the release button to open the key door to remove the key.

Damages:
Our rental policy require that your security deposit be held by a credit card. And, we reserve the right to charge your credit card on file for any damages or missing items, if necessary. We will contact you regarding these damages and payment.

Should an accident happen, please call us immediately to let us know about it.

Just so You Know:

  • Internet – High speed internet access is available via a cable modem or WiFi,
  • Things to Do – There is a book on things to do in the area and instructions for using the TV digital cable system in the coffee table drawer. 
  • Beach chairs and towels - If you have beach chairs, you may want to bring them along too. The house is equipped with bath and hand towels; but, you will need to bring your own beach towels.

Just a Few Reminders:
This home is NON-SMOKING! PLEASE GO OUTSIDE TO SMOKE!!! You may smoke on the deck; but, please close the doors. Do not flick your cigarette butts on the ground. Please put them in the trash bin. While we are trying to make things convenient for our guests, please remember we are not a hotel. You are staying in someone’s home; and, we expect you to take care of it as if it were your own. We provide basic cleaning supplies e.g. garbage bags, a roll of paper towels, and a roll of toilet paper in each bathroom. You will need to provide any other cleaning supplies or paper products you may need for your stay. Hand & face soap, shampoo, personal items, coffee, food, etc. are not provided.

Please:
Be courteous to your neighbors and keep the level of noise down after 9 PM. Lock the unit behind you when you leave, during your stay, and at check-out. Also, there is a very nice fish cleaning station at the city boat ramp on Marina Street.

Do not turn the A/C unit(s) below 73°. This can cause the unit(s)to freeze up or create large amounts of condensation which damage the home and the A/C unit(s) itself. If we find the thermostats set below 73°; and damage occurs, you will be responsible for any and all repairs. Please remember that you are not staying in a hotel. The air-conditioning unit(s) are not built to “suddenly” cool the whole home. It must be done gradually as in your own home. Likewise, with the heat! Turn off lights and fans when away from the home and when you check-out. This helps to keep the utility bills down for our owners and allows us to keep our rates lower. Do not run the air-conditioning or heat with the doors open.

Check-out: When you leave, please take your trash to the trash bin. Please double check that all doors and windows are closed/locked when you leave. Please return the key to the lockbox using the instructions above. Make sure the key is securely in the box and scramble up the combination.
